BUSINESS FORUM SWITZERLAND-SLOVAK REPUBLIC

The Swiss-Slovak Chamber of Commerce together with SEC and Switzerland Global Enterprise organised a successful event, the Conference Business Forum Switzerland-Slovak Republic, on November, 5th 2013.

Besides the guests of honour, J.E. Christian Fotsch, the Swiss Ambassador in Slovakia, the Swiss Honorary Consul in Slovakia, Helena Virčíková, the Members of the Board of Directors of the Swiss-Slovak Chamber of Commerce, the representatives of SEC, economiesuisse, SARIA, the leading Swiss investors in Slovakia – Holcim, Swiss RE, Slovaktual, the National Forestry Centre and the representatives of several companies from Switzerland, more than 60 representatives of companies which undertake in Slovakia or are interested in the business climate in Switzerland took part in the event.

The representatives of the companies Holcim, Swiss Re and Slovaktual explained in a panel discussion the reason for their undertaking in Slovakia and the GD of the National Forestry Centre in Zvolen introduced a very successful project of a know how transfer realised from the sources of the Swiss finance mechanism. In this context it should be mentioned as well that the project „Forest and land condition monitoring by means of the Remote Sensing methods” won the 2. place these days in the International Congress ITAPA.
